On this page I wanted to share and recommend some of the mindset and retail books and mindset techniques which I have learnt throughout my career. The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins

Mel Robbins is another amazing woman her TED talk which she mentioned the 5 second rule is inspiring. This trick is so simple count back from 5 think of a positive thought then move within 5 seconds. This can trick the mind to think another thought. This is good for anxiety, getting to sleep or to stop procrastinating. This was the first trick I learned where you knew you were in control of your mind. Give it a try or pass it on to someone you think it might help.

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne

I loved this book you can pick it up any time and open any page and feel inspired. This is all about the law of attraction and how we can create our own world or life with our thoughts and actions. We are responsible for our energy good or bad . This opens up your world with no limits to what you can achieve. When you I am I already have the universe responds to you in magical ways!

Grant Cardone’s 10x is the idea of reaching for goals 10x bigger than you think  you can reach. You might not get 10x but you will go further than you think possible. Outwork yourself and everyone around you by upping your game in every area of your life.

Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

Money Mindset is so important to your life. It can help you grow, it can help you think bigger, it can make you secure. 99% of the population are controlled by 1% of the population. The 1% think differently, if you are interested and curious to find out more you should read this book. The parts which I learnt the most from are the difference between an asset and a liability this alone will help you invest more in yourself and less on material things.

7 Levels Deep. Dean Graziosi teaches that if you lose motivation it’s usually because you don’t know your why? Take the time to ask yourself 7 times to find answers at a deeper level. You will have more clarity and focus because when you are clear on your why you are less likely to give up. I am so passionate about helping others and if I can help you reach your goals I will succeed in my why.

GRIT by Angela Duckworth

I am really interested in what makes one person successful from the other. I seek out any answers to help myself and others, some people think its luck but Angela Duckworth‘s TED talk made me understand it’s grit. Grit is something anyone can be made of it’s the long hard road of NOT GIVING UP EVER!

Mindset Recommendation for educators or an advanced read for students.

There’s is a brilliant study over on her website where you can see how Gritty you are.

Awaken The Giant Within by Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins is the ultimate life coach, his books are a long read but they give so much value. This book taught me about how to respect each others values and use that to focus on what’s important to you and that it’s ok if someone else has different values to you. Reading this book helped me understand myself and others and a whole lot more. It is one of my dream to attend one of his life changing seminars they are held in huge arenas. Theses seminars go on for a few days and have experiences like fire walking. Tony Robbins mission is to stop any suffering in the mind of every human being he finds. He has an interesting podcast series on his website.

Tony Robbins has a documentary on Netflix ‘I am not your Guru’ which is a unique glimpse into his world famous seminars.

This is the most current information on retail I have found. I love how the title instantly tells you how to be a better sales person and inside there is so much information about sales in the modern world like Amazon and how we can can use these techniques in our salons and on social media.

One Minute Salesperson by Spencer Johnson

This was the very first motivation self help guide I was ever given. It made my working life better and easier and in lots of ways and holds the secret to many of my success. The main thing’s I got from it was that sales is not bad, you are helping people and the key is to find what they need! Simple really you have to care enough to ask the right open question’s, find out every client’s individual needs, worries concerns and then help them by recommending things that will help. When you truly care a sale is a natural outcome.
